The blade and bolster is forged from a single piece of steel, and fitted with a strong tang for supreme strength. The handle core is made from ultra-tough moulded polypropylene (PP), with an injection-moulded synthetic outer layer of ‘superior grip’ thermoplastic elastomer (TPE, a durable synthetic rubber). These components are all very strong and will not separate with normal use. There are no rivets or wooden handle pieces that can crack or fall apart over time.
