Choose from heating anti-freeze or ventilation mode with a simple press of the button. In heating mode the unit offers an adjustable thermostat and three power levels: "min" for reduced noise and energy consumption "max" for heating a room quickly and "auto" where the appliance automatically determines the operating power based on the ambient conditions. The unit's base can be set to oscillate for evenly distributing heat while its tip-over safety switch automatically turns the heater off if it falls over accidentally. In anti-freeze mode the appliance keeps the room at a temperature of 45 degrees F to prevent freezing temperatures and in ventilation mode choose from "min" or "max" fan-only speeds for air circulation without the heat. The unit's 24-hour digital timer which can be used in any operating mode makes it possible for the unit to automatically turn on or off after a specific amount of time--great for heating the kitchen in the morning before work or having the unit turn itself off an hour after bedtime.
