VIOlight Toothbrush Sanitizers
VIOlight toothbrush sanitizers use a patent-pending technology that eliminates up to 99.9 percent of bacteria that thrive on your toothbrush. Todays Concept has home and travel versions of this kit for sale at more than 20 percent less than retail.
The VIOlight 100 Home Ultraviolet Toothbrush Sanitzer is a unit for the countertop designed by Phillippe Starck. This four-brush device stores and sanitizes toothbrushes, including toothbrushes with electric heads. The unit is designed to prevent cross-contamination. This sanitizer kills 99.9 percent of all germs with germicidal UV bulbs that work by breaking down bacterial and viral DNA. The countertop unit has one button activation and automatic shutoff in about 10 minutes. The travel toothbrush sanitizer uses the same UV light technology to kill germs in seven minutes. The travel device houses one toothbrush and requires two AA batteries to operate. In addition to the devices, Todays Concept also has replacement UV bulbs for the VIOlight 100 countertop unit. The bulbs have an average life expectancy of 2,000 hours. The bulbs on the countertop unit should be replaced every one or two years, depending on use.
